There are so many people on the Internet giving advice and promoting their products and services, its very difficult to work out what decisions to make and who to trust.  I was once an opal miner and lived with my wife and children  in the harsh conditions of the Australian outback.  We operated machinery digging for the elusive precious opal, it was a tough game with many great people but interwoven among them all, were the crooks, free loaders thieves, murderers and con artists. I quickly developed my own survival plan to protect my family and opal assets.  I figured I would treat all people as ‘Wolves in Sheep Clothing’ until I was proved to the contrary. Sound harsh? Maybe but in the Australian opal trade, its survival of the fittest.  I figure the Internet has a lot of similarities.

Whats my point? I’m SUS about everything on the Internet and understand you may share the same sentiments. Good on you! That is the reason for this experiment, to prove to you that ‘Less Haste More Speed’ is a very sound anachronism when trying to develop your online presence.

When our business, ‘JAL Webagency’ started building websites for customers we soon realised that we were not providing a proper service to our clients if after they had a brand new shiny website, no one could find them. Sort of like having a magazine tossed on to a football field, with people trampling over it but not really noticing it was there.
